Your personal information will be protected, will never be sold, and unless we advise you in advance, will be used only by Autogard Advantage, our affiliates, dealers/retailers, and service suppliers (only to provide services). A) Personal Information That Autogard Advantage May Collect About You:
Autogard Advantage collects personal information about you that is reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. We may collect this information directly from you or from our Autogard Advantage websites, dealers/retailers, affiliates, service providers, and other sources that compile lists of potential vehicle purchasers, always with your consent when required by law.
For example, when you purchase or lease a vehicle, a registered used car dealer, as the case may be, will collect information about you that may be shared with Autogard Advantage for the above-stated purposes. Autogard Advantage also conducts contests, quizzes, surveys, promotions and offers several forms of personalized services such as vehicle warranty, servicing and maintenance, in respect of which you may be requested to provide certain contact and eligibility information such as name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, age and other information that may be required to provide or administer these services or promotions. We may also ask you to provide additional information about your purchasing patterns and preferences, gender and other financial, insurance and demographic information such as family income. We use this information as described in our list of uses set out above. The more information you volunteer, and the more accurate it is, the better we are able to customize and improve your experience with Autogard Advantage.
B) Visiting the Autogard Advantage Website:
(i) What Information Autogard Advantage May Collect Through its Web Site: During normal Web site usage, you can visit our site without communicating any personal information. However, to make use of certain features on our site, such as contests, quizzes, promotions, personalized services, or online appointments with one of our dealers/retailers, users may need to register with the Autogard Advantage site. As part of this voluntary registration, Autogard Advantage may request contact and eligibility information such as name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, age and other data required for operating these services or promotions.
As described in paragraph A above, we may also ask you to provide additional personal information. We use this information as described in our list of uses set out above. Again, the more information you volunteer, and the more accurate it is, the better we are able to customize and improve your experience with Autogard Advantage. You should be aware that when you share personal information in public areas of our Website, such as chat rooms or bulletin boards, this information might be seen and used by others. (ii) Autogard Advantage’s Web Site – Use of Cookies:

While Autogard Advantage encourages its registered Used Car Dealers and Retailers to ensure full compliance with all applicable Privacy legislation, each dealership retailer operation operates as a separate legal entity, independent from Autogard Advantage. As such, Autogard Advantage is not responsible for their compliance with applicable law. We recommend that you review the privacy practices of the Retailer with whom you are dealing to ensure that you understand their privacy practices and procedures. Additionally, because the Retailer often is the first contact with you, the customer, the Retailer can answer any questions you may have about its privacy practices. When completing a purchase or lease agreement with a registered Used Car Dealer or Retailer you should be provided with information describing the Dealership’s or Retailer’s privacy practices and related statements that explain that certain personal information that you provide to the Dealer or Retailer may be shared with Autogard Advantage and its affiliates for some or all of the purposes described in this policy such as financing, service and warranty administration, customer communication and marketing purposes.

Consequently, our policies including this privacy policy will continue to evolve and Autogard Advantage reserves the right to alter this privacy policy from time to time and such changes will be effective ten days following the date on which this privacy policy is revised and posted to our Autogard Advantage web site.
